Caroline Grzelak

Caroline is a photographer and art director based in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Magdalena Abakanowicz’s University of Fine Arts in Poznań, majoring in graphic design. In her works, she focuses on creating a new, unknown reality, she looks for uniqueness, references to memories and emotions. This mystery has accompanied her since the first moments of her studies when she picked up a pencil. She discovered that she appreciates when her works stimulate the imagination and encourage the recipient to a subjective interpretation. It is also a way for her to better understand herself and the world around her. When creating, she likes to go beyond the basic form, build new qualities, and go beyond the scheme. The constant desire to experiment and discover new things leads her to compose more diverse works.

Caroline is interested in contemporary art and art history, in particular the work of Judy Chicago and Barbara Kruger.
