Michał Alex Piotrowski – Dir/DoP, Motion Designer, Vfx
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Faculty Multimedia Communication in the direction of Photography and Realisation of a Film image. Already at university, apart from photography, his passion was film. He took his first steps as a director and the operator, working vigorously with the Poznań Hip Hop community, making music videos for artists such as: Donguralesko, Paluch, Peja or WSRH.
His artistic works in the field of photography and video were awarded in competitions in Poland and abroad, winning prizes, among others – Samsung Art Master and Mio Photo Award in Japan. Presented in exhibitions at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw or Media Art Biennale „Wro” in Wrocław.
In his works, Michał looks for the original forms of expression, often using advanced post-production techniques. He also likes to combine film with motion design and pay special attention to flow editing with music and sound design, not being afraid at the same time to experiment.
